Absent

I wrote this song about a girl.. of course haha who has torn up my heart more times than I can count.. This is also the second song I ever wrote.

It was written sometime in the fall of 2008. (9th grade)

Absent

You took all that I had

These thoughts, now in my head

Are taking, my soul

We can't survive anymore

 The wind is tearing down

This storm is to fierce

And I'll be trapped

The walls are closing in

I don't have much time to lose

I need to stitch up this wound

Before I end up in the news

Another year wasted

Trying to fix what's been torn down

I'll never be fixed

As this falls back down to the ground

This storm took us by surprise

It over took us

Now that it is over

You took everything I ever had

No band aid for this wound
